The venues Clubhouse Restaurant is operating for golf members & visitors during the day time therefore it is offered as a private venue only in the evenings for dinner. All private functions have to take place after 5 o’clock.

The ceremony can take place at the 12th-century monastery “Stavros tis Minthis”. “Stavros Tis Minthis”, a twelfth-century monastery, from which the resort derived its name, is located within the resort grounds, evidence of the area’s rich heritage.  Legend has it that the decision to build a monastery on the site was made following the discovery of a large cross in some mint bushes, with a lit candle placed next to it.

Cocktail Reception can be held on the green lawn or in the courtyard of the Monastery and be followed by the dinner on the green lawn next to the Clubhouse (each venue can accommodate a limited amount of guests) Minthis Hills’ culinary team has been trained by the Alain Ducasse Training Center. Our skilled culinary team has perfected the art of fusion cooking to create intriguing blends of flavors, colors and aromas by placing emphasis on locally sourced organic ingredients.

17th Century Monastery – Spa Retreat and Mountain Resort

17th centrury monastryThis wonderful venue is a boutique hotel and specialist spa retreat destination . Well known for its calming, relaxing and revitalising sulphur springs which have benefited visitors for so many years. It is only a 25 minute drive from Paphos; a secret gem of a place, hidden away in the hills.

Located on the hotel grounds, there is a 17th-century monastery with a chapel that is available to couples that would also like to get married at the venue. The inside of the chapel can seat up to 15 and comfortably hold a party of up to 20 guests. This delightful, historic chapel is available for Anglican, Orthodox, and Catholic ceremonies. It is compulsory to have Catholic and Orthodox ceremonies inside of the chapel; however Anglican ceremonies may take place in the courtyard outside.

Civil ceremonies are the most popular option at this venue. The cost of a private registrar to attend and the marriage license fee combined total up to €650.00. Civil ceremonies are performed directly in front of the chapel making it a stunning and alternative outdoor venue that can cater to up to 100 guests.

Following your wedding party’s arrival, we can arrange for your guests to meet in the hotel’s stylish bar for a cool drink approximately one hour before the ceremony time to ensure everyone is in place and well acquainted!

Additionally, after your ceremony and group photography, you may wish to arrange a Cocktail drinks package which is an ideal way of keeping guests occupied and maintaining the spirit of your celebration whilst your photographer concentrates on you!

Within the hotel, there are several choice areas in which you have the excellent opportunity of hosting your reception breakfast. The most popular dining areas are at the poolside and in the hotel’s Cava wine cellar. The hotel offers a choice of areas for both your cocktail reception and your wedding breakfast.

It is also worth keeping in mind that for larger parties wishing to use the hotel for accommodation the hotel manager can negotiate a better price for a group stay. It is also very important to be aware that whilst children are welcome to the ceremony and wedding reception, the hotel has a strict policy of adults only that may use the hotel for accommodation. It is NOT compulsory to be resident at the hotel in order to have your ceremony and/or reception at the hotel. The hotel also has a strict policy of only ONE WEDDING PER DAY!
