Natalia and Brendan eloped to Cyprus, just the two of them. They had an Anglican ceremony at the quaint chapel of St. Georges chapel on the Beach in Paphos.
Eloping couples need not just choose to have a civil wedding ceremony. Church weddings are also legal and binding weddings with many different nationalities marrying. Natalia is Russian and Brendan is British. On this occasion myself and one of the church vergers acted as witnesses to this very romantic wedding in October 2018. Always a pleasure to be apart of any wedding; large or small. Intimate elopements are fun for me to organise and no less important that lavish affairs.
Church weddings are very meaningful and beautiful ceremonies conducted in English. No matter the nationality of the couple we can accommodate your needs and assure your marriage certificate is attested to be recognized in the country of your origin.
So happy to call Brendan “husband” “We had a great stress-free elopement wedding organised by Stella. It was a fun and special day – we had great advice on the venue for the ceremony, photographer and food. Stella Virdi was always available to support us“.
It was so lovely to receive this photo-thank you card this morning in the post.
Knowing that Marina and Sven had the most wonderful wedding and a magical day makes me love me job even more.
They married at the stunning Cap St Georges; a perfect resort to enjoy amazing views and switch off and relax. Large or small wedding parties can enjoy five star service where the staff will take care of their every wish. This venue boasts one of the most unspoiled views of the Mediterranean in Paphos. We booked our wedding through Stella Virdi, she is great , listens to what you want and then offers a great choice for your function, we chose Peyia gardens to have our ceremony , it’s was just beautiful, we got married late in the day which was just perfect, hair by maria , OMG she is incredible we then headed to Yiannis taverna , it’s about 25 mins drive from paphos , a traditional Cypriot taverna, using all local produce, and let me just say a ridiculous amount of deliciously fabulous food, the plates of food just kept coming and coming .
We received so many amazing comments from all of our guests to say what a great day from start to finish.
Pus our photos, wow, Dan the photographer; who we booked through Stella was fantastic , we have just received them and they are very special.
we would recommend Stella to anyone as she took the stress out of our special day.
Myself and Nick were recommended Stella Virdi by a friend of ours.
So we took her recommendation and used Stella for our wedding, which took place yesterday 20/07/18. Our ceremony was in a pretty town hall garden and reception in the villa that we stayed at for the duration of our stay in Cyprus.
I can honestly say we have been in the safest hands. Stella has been amazing from the beginning.
If anyone is thinking about getting married in Cyprus, you must use this amazing lady; she is an excellent wedding planner.
Stella is very professional and offers advice and guidance all the way from start to finish. Highly recommend she made our day the best ever.
I chose Stella Virdi (Exclusive Weddings Cyprus) to be our wedding planner after doing some research online, and reading the fantastic reviews from previous couples. I sent a tentative e mail initially as it was a very small wedding party (just the two of us actually!), and I wasn’t sure whether Stella would take on such a small job. Her response was amazing – she reassured us that she would be delighted to work with us, and said that although she does work on very large and very expensive and elaborate weddings, she loves the small, intimate affairs just as much.
We explained the sort of thing that we were after and Stella came back with several ideas for the venue. We chose Peyia, an old walled courtyard in the hills behind Paphos, and it proved to be an absolutely beautiful setting. Over the weeks and months before the wedding day Stella was in touch regularly. We sent her photos of us and a brief history as she was keen to get a feel for who we are, and this type of personal attention carried on throughout.
Stella advised us on the legalities and the documentation required to get married in Cyprus and she made things really easy for us. She also arranged a fabulous bouquet of yellow roses for me and a matching button hole for the groom, and arranged hair and make up appointments for me both I terms of a prior trial and the appointment on the day . I was delighted with both.
After we arrived in Cyprus, Stella collected us from the hotel and took us in her car to the courtrooms sign affidavits and then to the town hall to apply for the wedding license. She has the bubbliest and most friendly personality and we loved her immediately. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt she was totally focused on our wedding day even though she had other weddings immediately previously and afterwards. She helped us plan out the day in terms of getting to the venue (I was concerned that my fiancé didn’t see me at the hotel, so he went first in a taxi and Stella came and collected me so that I met him there). She helped us with music for the ceremony and even brought fresh rose petals to throw as confetti. She also helped us decide where to go afterwards for champagne and where to eat later.
We are both 60 years old and this was not our first marriages. We wanted secrecy (no one at home knew we were getting married until after we had flown to Cyprus) and intimacy, and Stella delivered in spades. We had the most fantastic and romantic wedding day, and it was just perfect in every way, orchestrated and arranged by Stella. We will be keeping in touch with her, and will be sure to meet her for dinner when we return to Cyprus next year.
