Many of the more exclusive hotels have their own quaint chapels, available for wedding ceremonies and vow renewals. These are small and intimate chapels, located within the picturesque hotel grounds. Because of the smaller size of these chapels, ceremonies with larger numbers of guests can also be conducted with the bride and groom being married in the archway entrance to the chapel and the wedding party outside.
These venues are available for use to those couples who are staying in the hotel; such hotels include the Elysium, the Columbia Resort and Aphrodite Hill, the Ayii Anargyri chapel and the Kefalos hotel wedding chapel All beautiful resorts set in breathtaking backdrop.
We can offer either Greek Orthodox, Anglican or Catholic religious ceremonies in these chapels. For the larger parties ceremonies will take place with the bride and groom under the doorways and guests seated in the courtyard. For those that just want a civil ceremony but love the idea of the chapel back-drop – all ceremonies would take place outside doorway of chapels and guests seated in courtyard. Hotels provide white linen chair
covers for guests.
