Our Big Fat Greek Wedding!

I felt the need to write a review for Zaffron Weddings as we had the most amazing time ever.  From the moment we decided to get married in Cyprus and found Stella it all seemed right, Stella couldn’t have done more to make our day more special.  She is so efficient and professional and never made us feel rushed or a nuisance  the total opposite in fact she makes you feel like the only bride in the world and nothing is too much trouble.

Any last minute ideas, be it another hotel for the groom the night before the wedding, or a video of the event decided on the day before!!! was sorted within minutes and I would thoroughly recommend her to everyone.  She has an amazing florist who made my very plain simple white roses look amazing, with pearls, ribbon and lace, and takes you too her to sort what you want out face to face, and the end result is even more beautiful than you could wish for,  the flowers are so fresh they lasted for the whole 10 days of my honeymoon. Even after the special day Stella is there for any questions or meetings with just as much care as before the wedding.  Still happy to meet up for coffee and I truly feel I have a new friend for life.

The Chapel was the most beautiful place and was so perfect for our small wedding,  and as we were there alone just the two of us, Stella was even more than happy to be our witness along with a Keith who works within the Church and together they couldn’t have made it a happier occasion.  We had Father Marvin marry us and he was the most adorable Priest from Yorkshire we could have wished for, we even had him rocking at the alter with our choice of hymn.  He thoroughly enjoyed himself and he also made our very personal day perfect for us, and we will think of him with love always.

We had Jim from Dimitri Katchis Studios doing our photography and his daughter doing our video from the first minute we got on fantastically and had great fun doing the photos, his daughter was so discreet I didnt even realise she was videoing me in the hotel room as I thought it was a camera?? so that made a very natural and amusing video.  All Jim’s shots were natural and easy and the harbour shots were amazing.

We have had the best time of our lives and all this was made possible because of Stella, we are eternally grateful thankyou Stella xxx

Words can’t really describe what we want to say but I’m sure you will know how we feel.

Thank you for guiding us from our disappointment at the very beginning to the most wonderful wedding anyone could have ever imagined.

Thank you for all your guidance in finding Jim who captured the story of the day. Sherie for making Vasilias so special. Annivia who’s flowers brought romance and elegance to the wedding. Danny, Karina and husband (sorry could’nt remember his name) for playing lovely music during our meal and perfect choices of music for the evening which all of our guests commented on. Anna for making us feel very comfortable, at times so discreet we did not realize she was filming us. Maria for working miracles on Pats hair and Danniella for performing magic with her brushes. Pat felt very special. To the Cypriot dancers who really did get the party going. Great fun. For liasing with Christina and her family at Vasilias to make the day perfect. For recommending Cy-Breeze who’s cars and service were excellent and for finding the most wonderful coach transport to the venue. Our family and friends all thought that it was a perfect start to the day.

Wherever possible we will be going on the various web sites and forums to express our thanks to all those we have mentioned, but, it will take a little time.

Please thank Budge for two wonderful meals (and the vodka and water melon special). We have put a message on Trip Advisor regarding the restaurant and we have also put a message on Zaffron Weddings forum.

We will shortly be sending the pictures to you via a web link on a seperate email. Please give me a call if you have any problems and I will send them to you on a memory stick.

Kelly and Colin gave us a wonderful homecoming, luxury transport home from the airport. On arriving home more champagne, cake and lots and lots of confetti which we are still finding in the most unusual places!! Also loads more tears.

Stella, from the bottom of our hearts thank you. Our day was full of love, emotion and endless happiness. You are a friend forever.

Married in May 2012 at the Coral Beach Hotel.

Just wanted to say a really big thank you to you for organising the wedding for us, no hitches and it was so reassuringly knowing you were in the background for me. I really enjoyed the day and the boat even if no one else did.

Please give Sherrie a hug from me and say thank you for her decorating skills, the terrace looked lovely and bless her I know she diced with danger on those steps, tell her to be careful. Did you find the lanterns? Such a shame that they go missing they looked so nice.

Please say a big thank you as well to the cake lady, what a wonderful job she did I was so impressed with it and she made the table look so nice, Loved my flowers as well know I was a bit indecisive but I had faith in you and the flower lady and you both did a fantastic job..

Kerry, bless her such a nice lady and I know she felt so bad about changing the venue to the amphitheatre but not her fault and the pictures looked lovely.

Feel a bit weepy thinking about you all and how nice you all were.

We really did have a lovely day and a day to remember, love the pictures on your Facebook page and on the CD you did for us, thank you so much. The one of little Jessica is amazing, think I am going to get that one enlarged.

It was so nice meeting you Stella and it would be great to keep in touch am so glad you were with me on the day, not just as my wedding planner but as a lovely person and someone who I connected to and wanted with me
